"Inadequate reception staff"

Last week I telephoned the practice at 18:15, and received a recorded response that I would have to call the next day.

Today I called again at about the same time and this time I was told that I was caller number one. A recorded voice thanked me for my patience, many many times. The same recording was still playing half an hour later, fifteen minutes after the surgery was supposed to be closed.

To repeat the "thank you for your patience" scores of times is at best patronising, soon becomes irritating and eventually offensive.

Why was I still being told this long after the practice had closed? Does someone find this funny?

Of course, the simplest solution would be for yor reception staff to bother to actually answer the telephone.

I would appreciate a response to this review, and also please could you tell us what your opening hours are, since they are clearly not as advertised.
