I would just like to tell people about my experience of getting my first Pfizer Covid vaccination earlier today. I am sure there are some people, whom like me, may have concerns about the vaccine and the process of being vaccinated.
I was very impressed with the efficiency and the professionalism of the service. I made my way to a vaccination centre, was greeted and then asked a few relevant general questions about my health. My initial data was logged and then I went into a second room waiting only for a couple of minutes. I was called into a large room of purpose made booths and was asked a further number of questions by the friendly vaccinator to ensure I understood and met the criteria to receive the vaccine (which she explained very well). I then agreed to accept the vaccine and after receiving it, I waited in the last room for a further 15-minutes of observation for any reactions and was finally on my way home with the whole process taking only 20 minutes. I was very impressed and relieved it was such a simple and well organised process.
One further point, I have a chronic health condition and was worried about any possible reactions or side effects, however after good simplistic explanation I felt very comfortable to receive the vaccination.
