I was recently on ward 32. The staff were lovely, cannot fault them at all but the cleanliness of the ward was severely lacking, especially as we are in the middle of a pandemic. I found the clinell wipes boxes were all empty, there was no soap in the toilet, no paper towels in cubicle and when I went to have a shower it was really grubby and a bloodied towel had been left in there on the seat which I asked to be removed but then the chair was not wiped or cleaned and I could not do it myself due to there being no clinell wipes in the shower area. When looking at the bedside table, there was also obvious pooling of something which had not been cleaned off properly, it felt as though the room had not been thoroughly cleaned between patients and I felt grubby in there. After being on ward 33 which was spotless it was a big disappointment.
