"Attendance at 2 week wait Gynaecology Clinic"

(as a service user),

I was referred to the 2ww Gynaecology Clinic following referral by my General Practitioner, obviously I was worried about the appointment. However during my appointment the Consultant, Nurse and Doctor in training at the clinic were extremely professional. I was asked if I was happy to have a doctor in training present at my appointment   and the consultant took my medical history and I then went onto to have a biopsy of the lining of my womb. Although this was a procedure I had before my privacy and dignity were respected and I was supported by the lovely nurse ( Ruth ) throughout the investigation.   Although I am waiting for my results all the staff put me at ease.
