(as the patient),

Two events happened this week, the Americans landed a probe on Mars and I unexpectedly landed in Hairmyres Hospital, both missions ending with great results thanks to dedicated responsible teams. Hairmyres teams in  Accident and Emergency, Ward 3, Ward 9  and the excellent cardiology team also portering staff, x-ray, pharmacy and the outstanding catering staff all made my unexpected stay more comfortable, everyone was so cheerful and helpful which was a tonic in itself.

Thank you for taking the tie to provide feedback on your experiences recently in University Hospital Hairmyres. I am sorry to hear that you required our services but glad to hear your mission was a success!

I will be gladly pass your kind comments on to the staff of A&E, wards 3 and 9 and the cardiology team. I will also let the managers for portering, catering, x ray and pharmacy know too so they can pass your thanks on to staff. Staff strive to provide high standards of care everyday and will be delighted to hear your kind feedback.
