"Being diagnosed with endometrial cancer"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Cancer Services

(as the patient),

Although I had no other symptoms, I had a couple of bleeds, and went to see my GP. He sent me to Barnstaple to see a consultant.

First I had a sample taken from my womb which was not conclusive and then two D & Cs, the first with anaesthetic and the second without. These were also inconclusive, but the consultant decided to give me a full laparoscopic hysterectomy.

I had this in March 2020, and result was that the biopsy showed endometrioid adenocarcinoma grade 1, stage 1b.
