(as a service user),

I had initially been worried about starting this course and part of me thought I already knew what I should be doing and that it was just “the doing of it” that was the problem.

I could not have been more wrong. Adam, Roisin and Malachy have been great and each week I have learned how nutrition should work and how each food group interacts with another. And all with no judgement at all when I get something wrong. Everyone, staff and attendee alike, contributes to a safe and interesting place to learn.

This is a great service and will help me avoid becoming Type 2 Diabetic.

I am delighted that you are enjoying the Diabetes prevention programme and it that it has provided you with the information and tools needed to make changes to your lifestyle and reduce your risk of developing type 2 diabetes. I am glad to hear you have felt supported by the DPP coaches I have shared this story with them and they are delighted with this feedback
