Being 22 the last thing you want is constant discharge and discomfort so after a normal smear test showing no infection but an inflamed Cervix , colposcopy was the next step.

Something you expect to be very awkward and painful turned out to be such a reassuring experience with staff full of knowledge,  kind words and an offer of a hand at your side.

I was told about every step they were taking and what to expect over the next few months from the diathermy procedure. I was so pleased with the efficency of getting to the bottom of my problem.

I apologise for the delay in responding to your feedback and reassure you that they are really important to us. The whole team are really passionate about providing a caring supportive environment and experience for those who visit our department and realise the prospect for something so personal can be quite daunting so to read that you had a reassuring experience and that the staff were kind, knowledgeable and supportive is lovely to read - the staff will really appreciate this.

I am really pleased that you found the experience efficient and you were well informed.
