"Making a hard experience that little bit easier"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Neonatal Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter spent 58 out of 68 days in Craigavon neonatal unit. The whole team are absolutely fantastic.

I was very happy when my daughter got transferred back here, the care she received in the unit was exceptional and I was kept very informed of everything that was going on. I will  be forever grateful to all members of the team for making a hard experience that little bit easier.

I also received some little colouring books in the unit for my older daughter, I thought these were very good as they helped her to understand baby's journey in neonatal.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on your neonatal experience. It is often more difficult when you have to move between units but it is very reassuring to read such positive feedback about your time in Craigavon Neonatal Unit.

Thank you too, for your comments on the value of the sibling colouring in book. This is a new concept as part of our family integrated care approach. The staff in the unit who have taken this initiative forward will be delighted to read this review. Your feedback will be shared with the team and our allied health care colleagues.
