"Treated with Care and Compassion"

About: Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick children / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

The staff were excellent with our 3 year old daughter. She had fallen off our treadmill causing a deglove and small fracture. As expected she was frightened and in shock from the incident as were we, however the staff went over and above to put us at ease and calm us down. They treated us with care and compassion and ensured that our daughter was made comfortable. The treated her quickly and efficiently. We had to return on several occasions to have her wounds checked and dressed and each time the staff were excellent.

Thank you for taking the time to share you and your daughter's experience in ED on Care Opinion.

I will ensure that your kind words are shared with the ED staff. We appreciate feedback to help us improve services for patients and their families.

I hope that your daughter continues to recover from her injuries.
