I was an in-patient for 8 days with covid pneumonia - this included a spell on high dependency ward before being stepped down to a shared ward with other Covid cases. I benefited from excellent nursing care which was flexible, compassionate and made me feel safe and looked after even though the overall experience of being ill was frightening.
I will always be grateful to the nursing staff, and others for their wonderful professional care, cheerfulness and help in getting better.
