I always feel anxious before I have to make a call to this surgery because the staff who answer can be so so rude! They seem to have no understanding of what the other person could be going through. The first thing they say is -No, we can't. e.g, after many failed attempts, I called at 8am and asked for repeat antibiotic prescription. 8am is the ONLY time you call and have that slight chance to get an appointment or speak to a Dr.
The person who answers tell me, they can't give it. Twice repeats the same. Well I know that! That's why I'm calling at 8 so the Dr. can give me one. Then they say that someone will call me back. This is just one instance. You call, and they seem to forget they have picked up and continue talking amongst themselves. It's a joke.
No etiquette to take a call or speak to the person on the other side. I'm moving to another surgery ASAP.
