(as the patient),

I am always in hospital with UTIs. I was in direct assessment unit in daisy hill hospital and they wanted me to stay in and then they arranged IV team to come out to me at home, which was a great help. Drs and nurses do a great job.

I am sorry to hear that you suffer with this condition resulting in many hospital admissions but I am very reassured that the home IV team were able to deliver your treatment at home to avoid a recent admission. I will be sure to send you appreciation to Susan and Pauline the home IV coordinators who would have coordinated your care from the Direct Assessment Unit and to the District Nurses who deliver the treatment to you at home.
