"Horrendous. Do Not Go There. "

GP Does Nothing: My Mother has been waiting for over two years for a dentist, is elderly & in a home. GP referred in past, appointment canceled multiple times by dental hospital. They say due to the pandemic. Although all other dental practices and hospitals are open in the capital.

The GP refuses to come out again. Just makes video calls now. You cannot see from a video how a patient is, or see INSIDE the mouth. He needs a hospital referral as in a wheelchair and has Alzheimers. So needs a general anaesthetic for treatment. The referral to dental hospital has fallen through. GP has not made another referral. Mother just left. Her teeth have fallen out! Need a referral from GP to have treatment. No new referral made. No response from Clover Health Centre. This health centre hasn't chased the matter. My Mother has just been left. 

We even arranged a private GP (had to pay for this) to assess my Mother. SHE also said in writing a referral needs to happen. But again, no word from Clover Health Centre/NHS/GP. Social services now involved and a safeguard raised: Clover Health Care say it will be two weeks before they can even speak with us in a meeting. We don't need a meeting, we need a dental referral.My Mother continues to wait. Maybe all of her teeth will fall out. Who knows.
