"Shocking lack of care or equal treatment"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

My partner was sat in the maternity all morning and well into the afternoon 36 weeks pregnant kept being told she would be seen very soon, which meant she felt like she couldn’t go get a drink or go to the toilet as she felt she would miss her call. She suffers from anxiety, and this went on for hours with no one telling her why she was waiting so long or coming to ask how she was. She was struggling on her own.

Yet, others were there with their partners when we were told no one is allowed to bring them. She really needed someone there, to help her as she was getting faint from not eating or drinking. Where is the equal treatment, and also care for the needs of the patient by constantly telling them they will be seen soon. She shouldn’t have been made to wait all that time without being asked how she was.
