"Coronavirus vaccination"

About: Whitley House Surgery

I attended this surgery on Monday morning 8-2-2020 for a coronavirus vaccination. The staff and helpers we’re friendly and efficient . As I can’t stand in a queue for long I was given a wheelchair and a helper. It took about 25 minutes to reach the front of the queue. As it was very icy and cold my helper suggested I contact my lift to come round the back of the surgery to be picked up along with clear instructions on how to get there. All in all this was a well run operation. I didn’t catch the name of my helper otherwise I would have mentioned her specifically. As I suffer with Parkinson’s she chatted during our wait which made the wait much less stressful. I live by myself and have been at home for the majority of a year now and this was the most people I have been in contact with for some time, so I was nervous about the queue bending around itself as to whether a 2m distance was maintained. But as the surgery was well ventilated I think it was probably ok. I am happy to recommend this surgery to others to get their vaccinations.
