"Amazing care in DSU 2 and EPU unit"

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

This was my 2nd visit and 2nd surgery in DSU 2 in 3 weeks due to complications following a MMC. I was very distressed and due to Covid 19 had to be alone. My Nurse who remembered me from 3 weeks prior was absolutely fantastic I wish I could name her! She looked after me with the utmost care and understanding. The whole department were clearly under pressure due to the rise in Covid cases which was hard to see on top of being anxious due to my situation and being alone, if it wasn't for my nurse and the theatre staff I don't think I could have gone through with it all! I also want to mention that the on-going care from the sisters in the EPU unit is second to none those ladies are true angels. Thank you all for looking after me so well and being so kind I am very grateful.

Thank you for leaving this comment, I have forwarded to the relevant teams so they can see the positive comments you have given. They will try and find out who the nurse was so she can be personally thanked. I am sorry you had to go through such distress, everything is also enhanced due to COVID, but hopefully with spring coming and covid cases reducing we have a light at the end of this tunnel.
