"Thank you Taunton NHS"

About: Somerset NHS Foundation Trust

My husband developed life threatening sepsis following a routine hernia operation performed in London. Every person in the Taunton health system did an outstanding job helping him. From the call handler for the ambulance service, the paramedics who attended, all the clinical teams at the Musgrove over a 10 day period (working at the height of the Covid crisis); to support at home from our lovely Warwick House GP and their Patient Services, and the brilliant and very reassuring District Nurses - every single person has been amazing.

My husband is on the road to recovery. We know that the NHS is working under extreme pressure right now from the pandemic, and we are very grateful for the exceptional support we have received. Thank you very much.
