About: Enhanced Care / Community Respiratory Care

(as a relative),

I have recently been in contact with the Community Respiratory Service, Mullinue, St Luke's site. I would like to give feedback to the team. My husband is a COPD patient. He is currently receiving ongoing care from the respiratory team and is in regular contact with Roisin and Luke. They are an amazing team and nothing is any bother to them! They are pleasant, courteous and extremely caring and very approachable. Everything is explained to our understanding. They also assisted in installing oxygen into the house in which my husband can be kept at home instead of hospital.

Roisin and Luke have a gentle and caring approach. Whenever I ring the team with a query everyone is extremely helpful at all times and Roisin and Luke will do a home visit. This is very comforting and reassuring. 

We as a family are so blessed and grateful to have such a wonderful service and support team in our area. I would appreciate if you could pass on our gratitude to Roisin, Luke and extended team for their dedication and service.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story and for your kind words about the team involved in your care.

I am delighted to hear you have had a very positive experience from Roisin and Luke and they have been very helpful, courteous and caring in their approach.

It's is lovely to hear they had such a positive impact on you and your husband and they managed to keep him at home by installing oxygen, which avoided the need to go to hospital.

It is very reassuring for them that their input was valued, also motivating and encouraging for the whole team.

I will ensure the feedback is shared with Roisin, Luke and the whole team.
