About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary

My father had emergency surgery on Christmas Eve and recovered on ward 46. He is 85. The surgery was massive and his immediate recovery was challenging. The examplary care, skill, expertise saved his life. I felt an excellent relationship was developed with my father and his family which was based on dignity and respect. Such quality amidst a pandemic and a lockdown was exceptional. I Am pleased to take this opportunity to express my admiration and appreciation. Thank you and continue to stay safe.

We are pleased that he was able to make an immediate recovery from his emergency surgery and it is reassuring that you felt that the relationship between yourselves and our staff was excellent, based on the principles of dignity and respect.
