Rushed in with what turned out to be pancreatitis, mainly MOD personnel on duty who were excellent. The nursing staff endured a far from ideal patient for a week originally on a pain killer which had hallucinatory side effects which did nothing to help his 'cranky' temperament so I must thank all in the SAU (E1-E3) for their patience and good nature. I wish that I could retract some of the things I possibly said or did which I am sure were ill-mannered. Only negative comment concerns poor communications between doctors and patient which made a difficult situation even worse & more frustrating, needs work by the Trust. Otherwise nothing but praise for the Unit and all its wonderful staff, they all deserve a medal!
