I contacted the surgery and got an appointment with a nurse the next day (1st Dec 2020), I was referred immediately to Stepping Hill Hospital even before my blood and water test results came back, this was the start of a very rapid 7 week journey, that detected that my right kidney was blocked in the ureteric (the tube that connects the bladder and the kidney) by a 5 cm tumor, fortunately it had not spread as it was contained in the ureteric was is a very rare occurrence. On the 18th Jan 2021 I had an operation to remove my kidney and tumor. I was talking to the surgeon carried out my operation the next day and mention how my journey had all started with a visit to my local Health Center. He then said totally unsolicited that he was Very Impressed with the Professionalism shown by Bramhall Health Center. To me that spoke volumes of what is a fantastic asset we have in our community that sometimes we take for granted especially in these difficult times. to me it would not have mattered which receptionist I spoke that morning to or the nurse who I spoke to when I was put through and the doctor the nurse spoke to after my visit, the outcome would have been the same, and now I would like to thank BHC for their professionalism and dedication in providing and outstanding service to our community.
"I admired there professionalism."
