I was admitted to QE on 19/1/21 with breathing difficulties after a fall on 15/1/21. Staff in A&E were absolutely amazing. Scary experience fighting for breath but they quickly got to the root cause (chest infection and bruised lung). I was kept in on ward 1 then moved to ward 8 until being discharged on 22/1/21 with medication. During my stay the staff (every single one of them) were polite, friendly, caring, professional and even funny at times. Nursed me back to health in very challenging times. I have never taken the NHS for granted and will continue to value them as absolute diamonds of people. We’re very lucky to have such an amazing service staffed by amazing people who have families and lives of their own and sacrifice an awful to look after us without question or cost!
"Amazing people!"
