"A&E care Cowal Hospital"

About: Cowal Community Hospital (formerly Dunoon General) / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

After unexpectedly taking unwell on a walk, I cannot praise the efforts of the paramedic team enough (Hugh and Euan) for safely transferring me for emergency care to Cowal Hospital.

My sincere thanks also to the staff who looked after me in casualty (Dr Dare and staff nurses Anna, Anne and Hazel). Not the easiest of times (or the easiest of patients!) but, I can’t thank you enough for the excellent and personal care I received.

Unfortunately, I did have to be transferred and the ambulance team who took me across the water (Isla and Kay from Paisley) helped relieve the stress of this with their kindness and humour.

I’m so grateful for everyone’s  high level of care and assistance especially during this pandemic. Can’t say how much I appreciate.

Very best wishes.

Dear YoungC

I hope you are making a good recovery.

Thank you for taking the time to write about the care you received in Cowal when you became unwell.
