I don’t normally post about hospital visits but I have to say how incredible the surgical staff were at Croydon University  yesterday. 

Bearing in mind the unbelievable pressure they are under at the moment I was treated with care and compassion. I’d had the op cancelled twice in the last month and both times it was due to staffing issues - ithe anaesthetist being needed elsewhere - I don’t need to say any more as to where they were needed. It’s harrowing to know that just on the other side of the hospital are patients desperately fighting to breathe. So anything other than complete understanding for rescheduled procedures in my opinion is unacceptable.

So thank you to all the NHS staff working in such challenging times. You deserve such high praise and I am very grateful to you x
