"Same day assessment unit."

I ended up here via my GP on Monday 4th January 2021. The whole of the unit was maxed out. A&E was really busy too. Standing room only and hours to wait. 

Long story short, I had THE best care I could ever have wished for. ALL the staff on that day were run off their feet. They had run out of actual clinical rooms (Covid and building works) and yet every member of staff were thorough, kind, efficient and effective. 

The nurse and female Dr i saw both went out of their way to ensure that I was seen quickly and got the care I needed. Both went above and beyond (would remember names if my memory was jogged). 

ALL of the team, including admin, were kind to everyone around whilst under enormous pressure from Senior Management to see more patients than was actually possible.
