"Chalmers Clinic G.I.C Access!!"

About: Chalmers Hospital

(as the patient),

Totally disgusted at the lack of access to this clinic.

I have been phoning and phoning and constantly get the automated message!

I have been a patient for 7 years now and I am still awaiting the referral that I was promised 2 months ago, for the most up to date treatment I have to start, but there is no other way to access the clinic!

I did manage to get through 2 weeks ago today and was promised this referral would be made to my GP, who will then prescribe the treatment, but yet again, this hasn’t happened, as I have contacted the GP.

Feel very let down and it’s affecting my mental health!!

Firstly I’d like to apologise for the time it has taken to respond to your story – we are quite new to Care Opinion at Chalmers hospital and missed this coming through.

I’m sorry you have been unable to contact the clinic – this must have been incredibly frustrating. We have a few clinics operating from the hospital, and if there is still an issue with access, could you please contact me on 01261 812567 and I will look into it further.
