"So hard to access the extra help and care he needs"

About: Community Mental Health Services / CAMHS (Child & Adolescent MH service) Stirling

(as a parent/guardian),

Found out our son had adhd and asd at Stirling hospital by a man who expected us to know what that was we didn’t until I asked & he said it so matter of factly he was so very abrupt and uncaring that I was taken aback with shock what a terrible way to tell people something that will change there life forever.

Now nearly 2 years later they have never attended a school meeting yet show up for other children in nursery? they haven’t given the school his health report so they can access the extra help and care he needs and it’s been long enough he needs help at school he’s falling behind badly and struggles to deal with himself without proper support!

Also, why is it so hard to access this service that never has anyone in the waiting room emptiest waiting room I’ve ever seen in a hospital but yet they can’t diagnose earlier, we were refused appointments for three years it’s disgraceful that they treat kids in need this way and their family’s who are suffering and don’t know what to do!
