(as a service user),

Mum’s carers noticed a new sore red area on her bottom. She had been in bed a bit more than usual having contracted covid and we thought it may be the beginnings of a pressure sore. I sent a photo which was swiftly reviewed by the district nurse and a home visit was organised. Mum was seen and reviewed quickly which resulted in some excellent care options and treatments that I hadn’t considered were available.

Mum and I were very happy with the assistance from the district nursing team and felt supported and cared for when we needed them the most. Thank you
