"Video call between family and patient"

Stella and Jackie, what you have done today has made up for all the time Mum was in hospital and we had no contact.   Thank you so much [for facilitating the video call so we could see Mum and speak to her.   It means so much to see Mum in a calm and peaceful environment.   The little caring touches like calling her by her preferred name and having her hold a family photo mean the world.   You are a wonderful comfort to us.

As the well-being manager I would like to say how lovely it is to hear such wonderful feedback regarding our patient and family support service staff. This is obviously such a difficult time for everyone, and I am so glad that the support given to your mum and the family has made a difference to you all. We have made every effort to ensure that we can promote family contact in many ways over the past few months, with the increasing use of virtual communication tools enabling patients and their families to see eachother even if they are not able to do so in person. We treat everyone as an individual and try our best to make people feel as comfortable as possible when they are with us, so it is again pleasing to hear that this came across in your interaction with the staff team.

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback to the team, it really is very much appreciated. Take care, stay safe and know that we are thinking of you.
