Amazing birth experience.

Myself and my husband would like to thank the amazing midwifery department. Our little girl was born two weeks ago following an induction of labour, the care given in both the antenatal ward and labour ward was fantastic. We would like to give a special mention to our labour ward midwives, Suzanne and student midwife Fiona and Brooke and student midwife Eilidh. I received excellent breastfeeding support and had uninterrupted skin to skin contact with my baby after she was born. Our care was second to none, myself and my husband were kept informed and reassured throughout the duration of my labour and after.

Congratulations on the birth of your little girl. I hope you are all well and not having too many sleepless nights.

Thank you so much for taking the time to send in such fabulous feedback, I know there is not much free time for yourself with a new baby. Everyone in the unit strives to give the highest standards of care so it is great to hear about your positive experience and that the team gave fantastic care. I know reading your comments will mean the world to the girls especially those you have mentioned. I will ensure everyone sees your posting.

I hope the breast feeding is going well and you continue to have lovely skin to skin cuddles with your wee girl. There are so many wonderful times ahead for you and your husband, enjoy them all!
