"Minor injuries unit"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a service user),

This week I had a scald to my chest area. I pitched in to minor injuries the following morning. The area is spotless, reception staff helpful and I was issued with a fresh mask for my consultation. Seen quickly and had area cleaned and dressed. Follow up appointment the following day managed in the same way. Staff were helpful, caring and friendly. Booked again for Sunday but told I could pitch in any time. Took them at their word this morning due to pain and no further dressings at home.

Was seen by a nurse practitioner called Linda. I was in a bit of a state but was made to feel that they cared. My dressings were reviewed and changed. Linda also referred me to the burns clinic for review. Thanks folks you really don't know just how much I appreciated your care this morning. This is a fantastic local resource run by very capable nursing staff. Thank you .
