My husband has been unable to attend the Lewis Manning meetings, as, as well as Covid, he is unable now to leave the house. He is having palliative care at home from Agape. Saying that, every Thursday I have a call from one of the lovely staff at LM. Which has been a real help at times, just to know they're there to help is much appreciated. We've had very thoughtful boxes of gifts, and although he can't appreciate them fully, I show him what we have, and he does realise how lovely they all are. We have met Mandy, Lisa and Nigel in person, as they have popped in to see us.
He has Parkinsons and some dementia, and is steadily deteriorating, but his humour still shines through at times. I am hoping to have my husband at home to take care of, for as long as possible, along with the help of carers and members of our family.
"Their help is much appreciated"
