"Awful "

About: Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust

Having used the service many times over the years it has continued to fail in every aspect of the word. The crisis team are not fit for purpose, the staff are unfriendly and under trained. There is absolutely no compassion or empathy. Generally you will be greeted by an answering machine asking you to leave a message that nobody will respond to. Whenever you do receive a call back it will be from a withheld number just to make the anxiety of not knowing who it is that much worse. You will very rarely be able to speak with a Dr of psychology or psychiatry but instead a basic member of the public employed by the service with an absolute lack of understanding various mental health conditions who’s general advice will be call 111 or 999 or even the Samaritans.
