"Really pleased with the service"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Rapid Access Clinic

(as a service user),

My GP arranged for Daisy Hill Acute Care services for my husband, and I just want to say that I was really pleased with it.

I was very happy with the very professional, very friendly treatment from Mr McPolan. They did all the checks, and they talked me through everything.

Hello Wellwish - Can I reiterate what Christine, our Care Opinion Facililator, has said above. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such positive feedback.

Feedback of any description is invaluable and positive feedback is always so lovely to read.

It is reassuring to have all necessary checks and be provided with the best after care.

I will endeavour to share this with Dr McPolin and the others in the team.

Please stay safe and remain well,

Yvonne

Update posted by Wellwish (a service user)

We have had the acute care team out again this week. It is essential for my partner's physical and mental health that he is treated at home and not in hospital, even more so now. All the nurses and doctors are caring and wonderful. Keep safe yourselves.and you're doing a fantastic job.

Thankyou Wellwish,

For many of our patients, home is the best place for treatment and I agree that the Acute Care at Home team do an invaluable job in treating their patients in the home as a hospital at home service.

I am delighted that we have been able to care for your partner more than once to prevent his admission and that he has improved during each episode.

Thank you for wishing them well. We are all working hard to maintain staff morale and safety at this difficult time and receiving such lovely feedback from yourself certainly helps.

Thanks again,

Yvonne
