"Amazing staff, safe envitonment"

About: Burnley General Hospital

I attended for a colonoscopy today, I was a little apprehensive about potential risks associated with the COVID-19 Virus and slso a little nervous sbout the procedure.

On entering the hospital I was immediately reassured by the measures put in place to reduce potential virus spread, the 'security' personnel who greeted people entering the hospital were thorough, polite and approachable. The staff in the Endoscopy suite from receptionists, nurses,technicians doctors to housekeeping were extremely professional, reassuring and friendly. Making my experience a great deal less stressful than I had anticipated. I would be impressed at any time, but given the extremely difficult situation hospitals and the staff are facing at the moment, I can only say everyone is truly amazing. THANK you .
