"Amazing breast screening unit"

Last week I visited the breast screening unit and wanted to say how fabulous my care was. It was my first visit to the unit and hadn't ever had a mammogram before so was very apprehensive. The radiographer was so welcoming and chatty, putting me at ease from the moment she came to get me from the waiting area. She calmly explained what would happen and what to expect and feel. All the way through the x-ray I felt reassured and left the unit wondering why I'd put it off for so many years out of fear.
