About: Pond Tail Surgery

We are over 70 and I have type 1 diabetes.

I called the surgery as Caterham Post Office is closed as sorting staff are self-isolating. Therefore my letter with dates for Covid injections is probably in a pile of letters. I called the surgery and was advised that the surgery was not answering queries on Covid. I called Westway Community centre and was advised that Godstone was part of the local group and therefore injections would be held there for both of us and that I should contact the surgery!!

We have not received any post in the last 10 days it would good to know when, how and if we are going to be notified of the appointment for the vaccination.

Dear Mr Clarke

As far as I am aware the government are sending letters to appropriate age groups, offering alternative sites. Pond Tail Surgery will be contacting patients by text or phone when we have been advised that there is available vaccine and appointments to book, but unfortunately we do not know when this will be and these will be for age appropriate patients in the stages that the government has set out. Staff are informing patients that they will be contacted and that there is no need for them to contact the surgery. Please be assured you will be contacted when you are eligible. If you would like to discuss this further please do give me a call. Commy Roffey Practice Manager
