Surgical procedure with unscheduled overnight stay, ward 2. Without exception, all staff were mutually supportive, extremely polite and considerate to one another as part of a very effective, communicative multidisciplinary team. Any requests I had were genuinely welcomed and attended to as promptly as a busy department could afford, with good humour and great warmth. You clearly each wanted to give of your very best. I listened as you comforted other patients, who were struggling, with tenderness and patience. I feel genuinely humbled by your attitudes whilst under the undoubted pressure COVID has presented, and thankful for the excellent care and attention I was fortunate to receive. You were fantastic; the very best that our NHS has to offer. Surely there must be a solid argument for a top class service like this in Grantham, to continue to contribute to the welfare, both physical and emotional, of the population of Lincolnshire. I whole-heartedly recommend your services, with total respect and many thanks.
