My 72 year old wife fell in the house and suspected a broken wrist. Dialled 111 as per the website advice and after 1 hour and 20 minutes the phone had not been answered. I got her to my car and took her to our A&E where she is now. I did not pay into the NHS for 40 odd years for service like that. Very disillusioned as this was the first time we have had to use this service.
