About: North Manchester General Hospital

My daughter badly broke her arm and after the disappointing treatment by A&E staff( I understand they are under enormous pressure and appreciate what they are doing but

she's only 21 year old and never set foot in hospital and was given no compassion whatsoever and treated like she had broken a finger nail) very reluctantly she agreed to go back to see a

consultant in Fracture Clinic to discuss her options .They were absolutely wonderful and managed to reassure that they could manipulate her arm back into place and hopefully avoid surgery , she was extremely anxious but the consultant was fantastic and explained everything and made my daughter feel totally at ease. Big shout out also to the Plaster team who were also great and very reassuring. Big Thank you to a fantastic team.

Dear Mrs Allen

Firstly, I am sorry that your daughter had a bad experience in A&E. Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. I am delighted to hear that she had a positive experience in fracture clinic and with the plaster team.

Kind regards

The Patient Experience Team
