"My experience in 106"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / General Surgery

(as a service user),

I was an inpatient in the royal infirmary ward 106 over the Christmas period. I want to thank all the staff who looked after me throughout my time there and helped me. I want to say a massive thank you to one of the most kind, caring, compassionate not only nurses but person I have ever met Hannah. She has made what was a horrible experience being in hospital more comfortable and a positive experience for me. Thanks to you my patient journey was a more positive one. With having a daughter as a nurse I can see how tiring this job can be but Hannah still always had a smile on her face and always approached me with a smile and positive energy. Thank you for everything she did for me and I wish you all the best in your future you will go far. Many thanks

I will ensure the ward staff see your comments, I know they will be very grateful and once again thank you for taking the time to let us know how you found your stay with us.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience, I appreciate how difficult it must have been to spend time in hospital during these difficult times and over Christmas. I have shared your feedback with our team and Hannah and they are all delighted to know they made you feel more comfortable and made your experience more positive. Hannah really felt the impact of your story and it has made her really happy to know she made your stay better.

Thank you

Kim
