I sadly caught COVID in October 2020 and was admitted to a respiratory ward with breathing problems. I spent 12 nights on a COVID ward in sometimes very scary circumstances when I was very ill. The team on Ward 48 went above and beyond their daily care duties to support me whilst I was very upset especially with not being allowed visitors. I can never thank them enough and the doctors for the compassion and care they showed me.
