"Time wasters "

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

Appointment for 13 weeks old baby at MRI department was delayed the original time of the appointment was at 4 pm. However I was asked to come to hospital one hour earlier in order to prepare baby to the scan. I was on time the hospital wasn’t. My baby was unfed and alert as advised. Due to the hospital failure my baby was one hour late for his feeding and once the MRI was ready for us my baby did not want to sleep anymore ( after 3h sleeping in the waiting area) I was told to rebook appointment after wasting 4 hours in the waiting area plus 1 hour driving. On top of that I was told to remove my continuous glucose monitoring to be able to enter the MRI room and all this for nothing. The scan did not happened. So sad though that the hospital time is more valuable than the patient’s. If you’re late for appointment you need to rebook, if the hospital is late all you hear is “I’m so sorry”.
