"Pacemaker implant"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Cardiology (Heart Conditions) Wards 6c & 6d

(as the patient),

I recently had a Pacemaker device fitted at the Day Theatre Queen Elizabeth Hospital Glasgow; I was very well looked after by many nurses and Dr Corcoran

who performed the operation. There is one nurse who really went the extra mile for me she is the QEUH Cardiology Nurse Practitioner Caroline. Caroline  spoke to me and completed my pre-operation assessment on the phone and I was lucky enough to meet her whilst waiting for my discharge letter and tablets. And she managed to sort everything out for me so I could catch my pre-arranged lift home. I just want to say, thank you Caroline.

Dear Heidi17

Thank you for sharing your story on Care Opinion.

I am pleased to hear that you were well looked after by the nursing staff, Dr Corcoran and especially Caroline. I am glad that Caroline was able to sort everything out for you and that you were able to get your lift home. I will share your feedback with the staff and I am sure Caroline will be delighted that you took the time to say thank you.

Take Care and Best Wishes

Nicole
