From the time I admitted myself into A&E on Wednesday afternoon. Being admitted onto a ward in the early hours of Thursday morning. Having tests & procedures carried out to try & avoid having to undergo surgery, to the surgery itself. Then the aftercare until I was able to be discharged. Was (whilst not the most pleasant experience, due to my condition I will add) carried out in the most caring, considerate, professional way. With true dignity given to all the patients around, even with such a tremendous work load that they had to undertake. I have always had tremendous respect for all the hard work, doctors, nurses, assistants, cleaners, in fact all who work within the NHS do. But since having undergone my surgery and been looked after by such wonderful people, my respect has increased beyond that. Thank you all the staff that treated me and all the staff that I never met.
My sincerest Respect and Thanks - Colin
