"Left in pain"

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

After attending A & E on 3 consecutive days I was booked in for urgent for Colonoscopy & Gastroscopy on 18th Dec 20 - thankfully these particular investigations were negative but I was assured that I would be seen again due further investigations due to the pain I was and am still in. Having heard nothing after 18th Dec I phoned the consultants secretary who told me that the consultant was on leave for a couple of weeks. We are now on 13th Jan 21, nearly a month later and I have been left in pain all this time and basically ignored. This is a disgusting way to leave someone and completely unacceptable. Nothing has changed in my condition and yet I have been left to suffer
