"Good practice let down by rude front desk staff."

My recent visit was to collect a prescription. On the approach to the lobby prior to entering the surgery there are lots of signage regarding Covid safety rules and various sign regarding acceptable and non-abusive behaviour towards staff. My suggestion would be for some of the staff to read the signs and act more appropriately towards visitors. I found the staff member in the dispensary very rude and obnoxious with her communication and body language. It was as though she was annoyed that people needed medicine! Abrupt, stern and angry approach and once I’d paid, she literally threw the bag across the counter without a word I.e -“You are welcome” after me even thanking her for that poor customer approach. Companies can provide great products but it is always the people that destroy the experience. All other aspects of the surgery is 5 star.
