I was recently admitted by ambulance to Basingstoke Hospital with a serious lung infection. Both the Accident & Emergency and the Acute Assessment Unit were excellent at looking after me despite all the pressures of the Covid pandemic. I later moved to the E4 ward and received exceptional care there too. The staff were kind and caring throughout my stay and I cannot praise them enough. My husband (now nearly 90) and I have both been treated successfully on several occasions at this hospital in recent years. Thank you all, particularly at this difficult time. Betty Guy
