My mother was an inpatient recently in Daisy Hill Hospital I just want to say that the help provided by the porters in particular Jonnie was invaluable - at least three or four times per week I would go with clean clothes and a few wee treats for her - they would take the bag and ask you if you had something to be brought down.
On one occasion when I brought her a mobile phone, Jonnie came back told me had plugged in the charger and given her the phone and the instructions that I had written out for her and went through them with her this I thought was just amazing that a young man would be so helpful and kind to an 86 year old woman - to each and everyone of the porters who meets you in the foyer of Daisy Hill Hospital thank you so so much you are all doing a wonderful job in very difficult and trying times.
"Thank you to the porters"
